Open WhatsApp on your smartphone and tap the three-dot menu on the top-right corner of the screen to access Settings and manage your account options easily.
Inside the Settings menu, look for the Privacy option. This section controls who can view your information and lets you securely manage blocked contacts and privacy preferences.
Tap on Privacy and scroll down carefully until you find the Blocked Contacts option. This is where WhatsApp stores the list of numbers you have blocked earlier.
Select Blocked Contacts to open the complete list. You can now view every contact or number that has been blocked from messaging or calling you.
If the list is empty, it means you have not blocked anyone yet. Otherwise, all blocked numbers will appear here along with their saved names or phone numbers.
To unblock a contact, simply tap on the name or number in the blocked list. A prompt will appear, allowing you to remove the block instantly.
You can also block new contacts directly from chats or contact profiles. Managing this list regularly helps maintain privacy and avoid unwanted messages or spam calls.
Remember that blocked contacts cannot send messages, see your last seen, or call you on WhatsApp unless you unblock them manually from the settings.
Checking blocked contacts periodically is useful if you suspect missing messages or want to review your privacy settings to ensure your communication preferences stay up to date.
