Luxury smartphone maker Caviar has introduced a premium collection built around Apple's widely rumoured foldable iPhone. While the tech giant itself has not announced the device yet, the Russia-based brand has opened pre-orders for four customized versions of what it calls the ‘iPhone Ultra.’ Caviar is using leaked specifications and industry reports as the foundation for its designs.

The collection is tagged at $13,840, or around Rs. 11.5 lakh, while the premium version is priced at $16,270, or nearly Rs. 13.5 lakh. The pricing reflects the use of precious materials rather than hardware upgrades.

Luxury Design Takes Centre Stage

Caviar has named the series ‘Flagship’ and built each model with premium materials such as 24K gold, crocodile leather, and aerospace-grade titanium. The company has spent years creating luxury editions of Apple products, though this is one of the few times it has customized a device that has not launched yet.

The collection includes four variants named Dark Cherry, Titan, Silver, and Gold. Each version is inspired by colors or finishes that Apple is widely expected to introduce with its upcoming lineup.

  • The Dark Cherry edition combines purple crocodile leather with gold-plated detailing.

  • Titan follows an all-black design across the body, trims, and leather.

  • Silver features a sterling silver Apple logo and a silver-finished upper panel paired with crocodile leather.

The most expensive Gold edition comes with a carbon fiber body and a solid 18K gold Apple logo. Caviar says the model pays tribute to Apple's 50th anniversary. Across the range, every phone carries a raised 3D Apple logo and crocodile-leather panels designed to improve grip while adding a softer finish to the metal exterior.

Not Official Apple Hardware

The customized phones are based entirely on industry speculation. Apple has not confirmed the design, specifications, or launch timeline for a foldable iPhone. Caviar's product listing describes a foldable device with a titanium body measuring about 4.5mm when unfolded. The listing also mentions an A20 Pro chip, 12GB RAM, a 120Hz LTPO OLED display, a 24MP under-display front camera, and dual 48MP rear cameras.

The design follows recent reports that suggest Apple's first foldable phone will open like a book instead of using a clamshell form factor. These specifications are unverified since the tech giant has not released any official details.

A Collector's Product

The customized phones are aimed at collectors and buyers looking for luxury products. Apple's foldable iPhone is expected to cost more than the iPhone Pro Max when it launches. Despite the price hike, it is comparatively cheaper than Caviar's customized versions. The luxury brand’s decision to launch this collection also shows how strong the rumors around the foldable iPhone have become.
