Apple recently raised prices on several products in the UAE, suggesting the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup could also arrive at a higher price. The revised prices appeared on Apple’s UAE online store on June 26, with some products increasing by more than AED 1,000.
The 13-inch MacBook Air with the M5 chip, which launched at AED 4,599 in March, is now listed from AED 5,499. The 15-inch MacBook Air also increased from AED 5,499 to AED 6,299.
The biggest increase came for the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 chip. Its starting price moved to AED 8,499 from around AED 7,199 when it launched earlier this year.
The price changes follow comments from Apple CEO Tim Cook. In a June 17 report by The Wall Street Journal, Cook described the price increases as ‘unavoidable’ given rising memory and storage costs.
“There’s less supply at a time when consumers want devices and the memory guys are passing along huge price increases,” Cook told the publication.
A week later, Apple said it was increasing prices for MacBook computers, iPad tablets and other products worldwide.
Analysts expect the price increases to affect the next-generation iPhone lineup, particularly the Pro models. The iPhone 18 Pro models are widely rumored to feature 12GB of RAM as Apple expands its on-device AI capabilities.
IDC Senior Director of Data & Analytics Nabila Popal told MacRumors that recent Mac and iPad price increases could indicate a hike of up to USD 200 for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, double earlier expectations.
If those predictions prove accurate, the iPhone 18 Pro could start between USD 1,249 and USD 1,299, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max could begin between USD 1,349 and USD 1,399 before local taxes and regional pricing.

For UAE buyers, the projected increase could put the iPhone 18 Pro at around AED 5,400 to AED 5,500, while the Pro Max could start at approximately AED 5,800 to AED 5,900 if Apple passes on the full increase.
The iPhone 18 Pro is also expected to bring an A20 Pro chip, larger batteries, brighter displays, a variable-aperture camera system, a next-generation C2 modem, and deeper Apple Intelligence integration through iOS 27.
Apple has not confirmed the iPhone 18 lineup’s pricing or specifications. The phones are widely expected to debut in September.
