BI Group is strengthening its UAE operations as the international development and construction company enters a new growth phase in Dubai. The group has established a permanent Dubai-based platform to support its development activities, partnerships and project delivery in the UAE.
Founded in Kazakhstan in 1995, BI Group has expanded from a regional construction company into an international organization involved in investment, master planning, design, engineering, construction, development and asset management.
The company's Dubai operation will focus on developing integrated, master-planned communities for Dubai's diverse, international population.
BI Group's initial residential portfolio in Dubai includes three developments, while it is currently evaluating further mixed-use and residential opportunities. Its next launch is planned for Meydan Horizon, which forms part of the group's wider development pipeline in the emirate.
The company said its initial projects are intended to demonstrate its delivery capabilities in the UAE while creating the foundation for larger community-scale developments.
BI Group said it has delivered more than 150 million square feet of real estate across global markets through more than 250 projects. The company employs over 8,000 people and ranked 131st on the ENR 2026 Top 250 Global Contractors list.
The group's development strategy includes creating large integrated residential districts known as BigVilles in its established markets. These developments combine residential properties with public spaces, landscaping, education, retail, services, and other infrastructure.
Aidyn Rakhimbayev, Chief Executive Officer of BI Group Holding, said Dubai is among the world's most sophisticated and competitive real estate markets. He said the company intends to build a long-term business in the UAE.
Ruslan Yembergenov, CEO of BI GROUP UAE, said the company has built a Dubai-based team with local market knowledge and is working with experienced UAE partners across design, development and delivery.
BI Group's international credentials include a BB/Stable rating from Fitch Ratings. In 2025, the group delivered 2.4 million square meters of residential space, according to data cited by Forbes Kazakhstan from Cushman & Wakefield Veritas.
The expansion marks the group's latest step in establishing a larger development platform in Dubai and building its long-term presence in the UAE.
