Apple Arcade has expanded its gaming catalogue with a new addition to the popular Crossy Road franchise. Titled Crossy Road Rush, the game is now available exclusively on Apple's subscription gaming platform.
Developed by Hipster Whale in partnership with Atari, the latest instalment takes familiar characters into a vibrant island setting, introducing fresh gameplay elements and multiplayer options.
Unlike the original Crossy Road, which challenged players to navigate busy roads, rivers and railway tracks, the new game takes a different approach. Players must race across challenging courses, leap between platforms and explore the colourful island of Crossy Cove.
There are more than 50 unique levels in Crossy Road Rush's Adventure mode. Quests, rewards, and unlocked boards await players as they proceed with the game.
For those who want some kind of competition in the game, there is a Survival mode that includes daily missions and a worldwide leaderboard where players can compete for best results.
In addition, the game has multiplayer mode which supports up to four players playing at once. The multiplayer mode is available in local co-op and online modes.
Moreover, the game contains familiar characters from the franchise keeping the franchise humor and colorful style.
