Dubai is developing as a top destination for Gen Z talent, and young Europeans are increasingly looking outside of the continent to work, create, and establish careers. Among the 4,880 new European businesses that became members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in 2025, many content producers are choosing Dubai as their home base.

Ecosystem Turns Influence into Long-Term Careers

Influencers are leveraging an ecosystem created for career pathways that scarcely existed ten years ago, and European companies now account for a sizable portion of the city's international business community.

This atmosphere has been shaped in large part by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, which has promoted Dubai as a platform for growing content-driven businesses. Dubai recently declared that its population has topped four million for the first time.

Creators HQ is a crucial component of this approach. The government-supported center, which was started as part of the larger content economy movement, provides slick co-working spaces, upscale production equipment, and established industry connections.

Four Million Residents Signal Rapid Growth Shift

The scheme enables artists to apply for a Golden Visa, which is a residency permit that lasts for 10 years. The visa makes it unnecessary for an artist to have a local or corporate sponsor, as it requires nomination by a government agency such as the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.

The one-year remote work visa in Dubai is an alternative for flexible producers who are not yet ready to relocate and settle in the country, allowing digital nomads to reside in Dubai while serving the European market. The AED 150 million provides further help for those establishing long-term operations. Support Fund for Content Creators.

Al Gergawi Positions Dubai as Global Launchpad

Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, highlighted Dubai's offer for growing digital businesses at a keynote address titled “Why Dubai?

He also highlighted that the location advantage of the city is still enhanced by its infrastructure, stability, and investment-friendly environment.

Dubai is the ‘ideal platform’ for creative talent, according to Al Gergawi. The ability of the city to attract specialists from across the world allows artists to “launch and scale their projects to the highest standards of competitiveness and innovation.”

What Makes Dubai Ideal for Global Expansion?

Dubai attracts founders with tax certainty, fast business setup, and understandable regulations that make expansion easy. Dubai’s proximity to Europe, Asia, and Africa makes it simple to serve multiple markets, and its safety and infrastructure make it easy to access global talent.

Digitalized services and platforms such as ‘Business in Dubai’ supported 1,600+ digital entrepreneurs in 2025, including many European startups, to expand quickly.
