Computing hardware emerged as one of the key highlights of IFA 2026. Laptop makers showcased affordable alternatives to Apple’s MacBook Neo, while NVIDIA and AMD pushed local AI computing. Unique monitors, storage devices and experimental concepts also featured prominently.
Lenovo’s IdeaPad Vibe is among the more notable Windows alternatives to the MacBook Neo. The laptop is available in seven colours and also offers replaceable keyboard keycaps, allowing users to customise the device.
The IdeaPad Vibe comes with AMD Ryzen AI 4000 series or Snapdragon X processors and is offered with 14-inch and 15-inch displays. Buyers can choose between an all-aluminium build or a model with a plastic bottom. The base model starts at $699, matching the MacBook Neo and Dell XPS 13.
Acer’s Nitro XV275U Z2 targets the budget gaming monitor segment. The 27-inch IPS display has a native QHD resolution and a 275Hz refresh rate. It can switch to 1080p at up to 360Hz or 720p at up to 500Hz.
The monitor also includes 1,152-zone Mini LED backlighting, 500-nit typical brightness and 1,000-nit brightness in HDR mode. It is expected to launch in Q4 2026 for $329.

Lexar’s Muse portable SSD measures 3.15 x 1.89 x 0.15 inches and uses a magnetic sleeve for attachment to smartphones. It offers 512GB and 1TB capacities with 10Gbps speeds and is expected later this year.
Minisforum’s N5 Max combines a five-bay NAS with AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495, supporting up to 200TB of storage and 192GB of unified memory.
Acer’s Project DualPlay Mini is a handheld that transforms into a netbook-style device. It uses a rotating display, keyboard and Panther Lake chip, although its commercial availability remains unclear.
