Apple’s iOS 27 beta has reportedly revealed references to six unreleased iPhone models, offering a fresh look at the company’s possible 2026 lineup. The references were found in system files linked to battery drivers and battery intelligence features. Macworld reportedly identified the device codes while examining the beta software.
Apple has not confirmed the devices or their launch plans. The software references are still being treated as early clues rather than official product details.
The reported findings point to a wider lineup than the current iPhone range. The internal references reportedly include the iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The list also includes an iPhone 18e and a second-generation iPhone Air. The sixth device is identified as an iPhone Ultra. That name has been linked to earlier speculation about a new high-end iPhone model.
The reported internal codes are V67 for the iPhone 18, V63 for the iPhone 18 Pro and V64 for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. V69 is linked to the iPhone 18e, while V62 reportedly refers to the iPhone Air 2. V68 is associated with the iPhone Ultra. The appearance of these references does not confirm final product names or specifications. Apple often uses internal identifiers for products still under development.
The biggest question is how Apple may arrange its next iPhone launches. Some earlier reports have suggested that Apple could release the iPhone 18 Pro models first and push the standard iPhone 18 to a later date. Other reports have pointed to a foldable iPhone arriving alongside the Pro models.
A Weibo post reportedly claimed that display production for Apple’s foldable iPhone could enter mass production in July. The reported timing matches the expected production period for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max displays. That could support a September launch window if the reported production schedule is accurate.
Apple is also reportedly expected to use Samsung as the exclusive display supplier for its foldable iPhone. LG Display is said to be left out of this project. For now, the iOS 27 references offer the clearest reported indication of Apple’s possible next-generation lineup. The final devices, names and launch schedule will only become certain when Apple makes its official announcements.
