Despite ongoing geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran, demand for Lamborghini vehicles remains strong. Recent reports indicate that Lamborghini continues to view the Middle East as one of its most resilient and unique markets.

Geopolitical instability and global economic pressures will influence global markets for the time being, but the luxury sector seems to be in high demand.

Lamborghini Market Demand Sees A Rise

In an interview, Stephan Winkelmann, CEO, Lamborghini, highlighted that the region’s unique dynamics, including climate to customer behaviour, are the key drivers of this rise in market demand.

He also explained, “In the Middle East, it’s one of the countries where you can drive all year round. You also have a high degree of SUV buyers and this has been very positive for our presence in the Middle East.

The statement by Winkleman comes after the Italian supercar maker recorded strong financial performance amid the war. Thus, highlighting the strength of its brand despite macro-economic headwinds. Lamborghini is expected to have delivered 10,747 cars in 2025, with revenues rising to €3.20bn (up 3.3 per cent year-on-year).

Luxury Demand Overpowers War

Latest reports suggest that operating income for the luxury car market has reached €768m, with profitability of  24%. This percentile is likely to be the highest in the luxury sector.

Winkelmann also said that global instability and rising oil prices for the Middle-East conflicts are shaping the wider economic backdrop. He explained that, “What is happening in your region is, for sure, affecting the global economy, at least the gas and oil prices. The brand is resilient. We never push peaks, so we always try to maintain a level of balance between the scarcity and the residual values.”

What makes the demand for Lamborghini stable despite the dire state of almost every sector? Experts suggest that demand for Lamborghini cars remains strong due to the company's strategy focused on controlled supply, product innovation, and customization to meet users' demands.
