Viture’s founders introduced a new line of smart glasses that takes a different approach to wearable AI. Called Vonder, the glasses have no camera or display and instead focus on voice-based assistance, personal memories, and privacy.
Designed to look more like conventional eyewear than a technology product, Vonder weighs under 30 grams and comes in six frame styles and three colors. Buyers can also choose prescription, progressive, Transitions and tinted lenses.
Privacy is one of Vonder’s main selling points. The glasses do not include a camera, screen, or always-on recorder. According to the company, it captures audio only when the wearer chooses to activate a feature.
For everyday voice interactions, Vonder is designed to recognize the wearer’s voice. When users want to record a conversation, lecture or meeting, they can activate Meeting Mode using a physical switch. A visible LED indicator then signals that it's recording.
According to the company, the glasses don't permanently store recorded audio. Instead, the glasses convert the captured speech into text and memories, then delete the original audio. Users can review or remove these memories through the companion app.
At the center of the glasses is Vonder’s Personal Memory Graph, which is designed to organize information from voice notes, conversations, and recurring context. The system can help users recall previous information, search through memories, take notes and access personalized insights.
The glasses also support hands-free calls and music. Users are not restricted to a single AI system, with the Vonder app offering access to models including Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude and OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
This approach makes Vonder less about displaying information in front of the user's eyes and more about creating an AI assistant that can understand and retrieve information from everyday interactions.

Vonder said that the glasses offer more than 16 hours of battery life and can reach 80% charge in about 25 minutes. The wearable carries an IP54 rating and is designed for everyday use rather than as a separate gadget.
In the US, pre-orders are scheduled to open on September 28, starting at USD 299, with shipments expected in November. The glasses will be sold through Vonder’s website and Best Buy.
According to the company, it protects its data with financial-grade encryption and does not sell user data. Buyers outside the US can currently register their interest, with wider availability yet to be detailed.
