Microsoft is expanding Agent 365 availability to the UAE as businesses increasingly deploy AI agents across operations and look for ways to monitor, secure, and manage them at scale. The move came as organizations shift from experimenting with individual AI tools to deploying multiple agents that can perform tasks across business functions.
Microsoft described Agent 365 as a control plane that gives IT and security teams visibility over an organization’s AI agents while helping establish governance and security controls.
Agent 365 is designed to provide organizations with an inventory of the agents operating across their environment. Microsoft says its registry can include agents built using Microsoft AI platforms, ecosystem partners, and other agents that organizations register themselves.
The platform also provides an agents map showing how different agents connect and operate, alongside analytics covering performance, speed, quality, and business impact. These capabilities are intended to give technology and business teams a clearer picture of how AI agents are being used across an organization.
For companies moving toward larger-scale AI adoption, this visibility can become particularly important as the number of agents, users, and connected systems grows.
Microsoft is positioning Agent 365 around three broad areas: observability, governance and security. Organizations can establish IT-controlled onboarding processes, apply security policies and manage agent access to users, data and connected tools.
The service also supports lifecycle management, audit and logging, data-security controls and threat protection. According to Microsoft, administrators can use capabilities from Entra, Defender and Purview to protect agent identities, monitor threats and govern the data agents access or generate.
The approach reflects a wider shift in enterprise AI. Rather than treating agents simply as productivity applications, companies increasingly need to manage them as digital entities that can interact with business systems and information.

The expansion comes as the UAE continues to promote AI adoption across government and the private sector. For Microsoft, the UAE availability of Agent 365 adds another layer to its broader enterprise AI offering, giving organizations a framework for managing agents alongside existing security and compliance infrastructure.
Microsoft has also been building its broader agent platform around governance and trust. At Microsoft Build 2026, the company said developers and enterprises need controls covering security, governance, and access as AI agents become more widespread.
