Wizz Financial launched a global cross-border wallet to give customers a single digital account for managing money across currencies and international payment networks. The fintech firm said that the platform is aimed at people and businesses with financial needs spanning multiple countries, bringing currency management, payments and cross-border transfers into one ecosystem.
The UAE-headquartered company described the wallet as part of its broader push to build financial infrastructure for an increasingly mobile and internationally connected customer base. Wizz Financial currently operates across more than 150 countries and has more than 50 regulatory licences, according to information published by the company.
The new wallet will allow users to hold and manage different currencies within a single account. Customers can exchange funds, make payments and move money internationally without having to rely on separate accounts or services for each currency.
Wizz Financial’s platform currently highlights support for global remittances to more than 150 countries, including transfers to bank accounts and local wallets where available. The company also offers multi-currency cards alongside its wallet services. The broader platform is designed to connect payments, foreign exchange, cards and other financial services rather than treating each transaction as a separate product.
"UPI is one of the most powerful pieces of public digital infrastructure the world has ever built. We have followed the Prime Minister's vision for UPI from the very beginning, and I am prouder than ever that Wizz Financial is now helping carry that vision beyond India's borders, spearheading a truly global, cross-border UPI ecosystem,” said Amir Nagammy, Founder & Group CEO, Wizz Financial.
“With SWITCH, we are bringing payments, wallets and cross-border money movement together across the US, UAE and India, so that residents, non-residents and international customers can all move money through the same trusted rails," he further added.
The wallet is also positioned for customers who earn, spend, or send money internationally. Wizz Financial says its ecosystem supports individuals and families as well as businesses and financial institutions.
For global earners such as freelancers, the company offers payment-receiving options through supported rails including US ACH accounts and UAE IBANs. Businesses can access settlement, treasury, and embedded-finance services through the same broader infrastructure.
"Wizz Financial has built the trust of millions of customers in India through accessibility and service excellence. By combining our nationwide branch presence with our digital capabilities, we are giving customers a simpler and more convenient way to access and manage their financial needs," said Krishnan R, Director & CEO, Wizz Financial India.

The wallet launch builds on Wizz Financial’s existing focus on cross-border payments and multi-currency financial products. The company previously expanded its offering through Wizz Voyager, an AI-enabled multi-currency card developed in partnership with Visa, which supports spending across 25 currencies.
Wizz Financial has also been developing blockchain-based payment capabilities. In March 2026, the company announced that it had completed its first stablecoin-powered cross-border transaction from the US into 80 countries with BitGo. Together, these initiatives point to a broader strategy of connecting wallets, cards, remittances and international payment rails through a single financial platform.
