Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is all set to unveil details of three new Harry Potter-themed lands on September 7. This comes as a major expansion of the wizarding world at Yas Island. The development was previously described as a single Harry Potter-themed land.
The announcement came during the Back to Hogwarts Showcase, where a short teaser showed the enchanted Ford Anglia flying towards Warner Bros. The video ended with the message, “Three new themed lands”, followed by a September 7 reveal date. The official countdown is scheduled to end at 12pm UAE time.
Warner Bros. World’s official website confirmed that three Harry Potter-themed lands are planned at Yas Island park. However, the park did not disclose their individual names, attractions or complete layouts.
Official Harry Potter channels have since identified three locations associated with the Abu Dhabi project: Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley and the Forbidden Forest. This would give the Abu Dhabi development a combination of locations rarely brought together within a single theme-park project.
Warner Bros. World did not announce an official opening date for the Harry Potter expansion. A consultancy working on the project previously advertised a potential 2029 opening, but Miral has not formally confirmed that timeline.
The attraction will remain indoors and climate-controlled, matching the design of Warner Bros. World. The park currently features six themed lands, including Gotham City, Metropolis and Cartoon Junction.
The September 7 reveal is expected to provide further details about the three lands, their attractions and the wider visitor experience.
