Isabel Mayfair is all set to open its first international outpost in Abu Dhabi. The move comes as a major step, as the restaurant takes its aesthetic and high-end hospitality concept beyond the UK.
Mayfair is one of London’s most vibrant dining destinations. The new restaurant will open at The Galleria Al Maryah Island. This is a prime waterfront retail and dining hub, attracting global names. According to reports, the new diner is expected to launch in early 2026.
Mayfair’s expansion into the Middle East reflects a broader trend of premium restaurant brands targeting Abu Dhabi’s fast-growing luxury market.
The menu, led by Vincent Visinet, a French chef, takes an ‘ingredient-first’ approach. Thus, balancing simplicity with precision and adding tastes from across the Mediterranean. The standout dishes include:
Croquetas filled with onion and leek béchamel
Vegetable Tartlet layered with cooked, raw, and pickled tomato salad
Carabineros paired with a reduced head jus, kaffir lime, and a potato roll with nori
Beef Fillet Wellington with a side of mushroom duxelles and veal jus.
Red Berry Pavlova with confit and sorbet
Extra-large Pistachio Madeleine
The brand is known for its immersive interiors, and the Abu Dhabi outpost will stay true to that identity. Scottie Bhattarai, CEO of BNF Hospitality, explained, “Our aim with Isabel has always been to bring people together over exceptional food, drink, and experiences. We always want our restaurants to be part of their communities, as we have a people-first approach to everything we do.”
Isabel Mayfair's expansion demonstrates Abu Dhabi's efforts to establish itself as an international culinary hub. The capital has steadily drawn marquee hospitality brands, but Isabel's entry adds a distinct lifestyle-driven edge. The upcoming dining evolution after Isabel will result from increasing competition between its experience-led venues and other establishments.
