Electronic Arts introduced a USD 29.99 Ultimate Shortcut Kit for Battlefield 6, allowing players to bypass much of the game's regular progression system. Released on October 13, 2026, the paid add-on provides weapon and vehicle mastery rewards for all four soldier classes. It also unlocks class-specific gadgets and training paths.
The bundle targets players who want to access equipment without spending hours completing challenges and progressing through the game's unlock system. However, its arrival renewed debate about paid progression and the value of earning rewards through gameplay.
The Ultimate Shortcut Kit covers Assault, Support, Engineer, and Recon. Each class receives seven weapons and two vehicles listed at 100% Mastery. You also get a dedicated training path and additional gadgets.
The Assault package includes the Frontliner training path and four gadgets. Support receives the Fire Support path and four gadgets. Engineer gets the Combat Engineer path and seven gadgets. Recon includes the Spec Ops training path and four gadgets.
Across all four classes, the bundle provides 28 weapon unlocks and eight vehicle unlocks. Players also receive the Mortal Shriek dog tag and the Field Training: Cross Trained title.
EA lists the add-on at USD 29.99 in the US. Indian players can find it listed at Rs. 2,899 on the Xbox store, although prices may vary by platform and region. The purchase requires Battlefield 6 or access to the compatible Battlefield REDSEC experience, along with an EA account, an internet connection and the latest game updates.
The bundle divided players over whether paid shortcuts improve accessibility or weaken the progression experience. Supporters may value the time saved, particularly if they cannot regularly play long multiplayer sessions.
However, the distinction between mastery progression and practical combat advantages remains important. EA's product description confirms the mastery levels and listed unlocks, but it does not establish that purchasing the bundle automatically gives players superior competitive skill.
