Dubai is turning to artificial intelligence to simplify real estate registration and improve services for property developers. The Dubai Land Department (DLD) launched Initial Registration, an AI-powered digital platform that brings project registration, real estate transaction registration, and escrow account management into a single digital journey.
The initiative aims to reduce repetitive paperwork and improve data accuracy. It can also speed up property transactions as Dubai’s real estate market continues to expand.
DLD said, “The Initial Registration platform combines project registration, real estate transaction registration and escrow account management in one digital process, reducing repeated data entry and document submissions. Artificial intelligence can read documents including Emirates IDs, passports and sales contracts, extract relevant information and populate application fields automatically.”
The launch comes as the UAE accelerates its adoption of autonomous and agentic AI across government services. A new government framework aims to enable 50% of UAE government sectors, services and operations to operate through autonomous, self-executing AI models within two years.
The DLD said the platform supports the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. The department expects the digital infrastructure to support the sector as transaction volumes and real estate projects grow.
The move also reflects Dubai’s broader effort to combine AI, automation and integrated data systems. The aim is to improve government services, strengthen transparency and make the emirate’s property market more efficient for developers and investors.
