Samsung has expanded its stable Android 17-based One UI 9.0 update to more Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The update is currently available in South Korea, with a wider release expected across other markets.
The company began rolling out the stable software to the Galaxy S26 series in South Korea on September 16. The latest expansion brings the update to more flagship models, while Samsung continues preparing additional Galaxy devices for the rollout.
Samsung's updated list, dated October 20, 2026, includes several devices from its Galaxy S, Z and A series. The supported models include the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Edge, S25 Ultra and S25 FE. The Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra and S24 FE are also listed, along with the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra.
Samsung's foldable lineup includes the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. The list also adds the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Several Galaxy A-series phones feature on the list as well. These include the Galaxy A57, A56, A37, A36 and A27. The rollout follows a phased schedule, so not every eligible phone will receive the update at the same time. Availability may vary by country, mobile carrier and device model.

Galaxy users can check for the update by opening Settings > Software update > Download and install. If the update does not appear, it may not yet be available for their device or region. Samsung is expected to extend One UI 9.0 to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets in the coming weeks. Some older flagship models are also expected to receive the Android 17-based software during October.
