The real estate market in Sharjah continues to show remarkable resilience and growth. It has recorded $626 million (AED 2.3 billion) in transactions during the first half of March 2026. 

According to insider data from the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, this substantial value was generated through 3,556 individual transactions. Experts suggest that the current period of heightened investor activity and market stability indicates that, despite the ongoing war, the real estate market remains strong.

What are the factors that supported the constant growth of the Sharjah real estate market? Given below are some of the factors that contributed to the surge of the UAE property sector:

Investor Confidence: Abdulaziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of the Department, continues to contribute to the improved performance of Sharjah’s stable legislative framework and long-term strategic planning.

Digital Transformation: Expanding the digital services has contributed to boosting the sales among users. Thus, allowing investors to complete transactions efficiently through specialized service centers and online platforms.

Competitive Value: Sharjah is being viewed as a "value-driven" alternative to other UAE markets. This is eventually attracting both local and international buyers. They are also providing constant infrastructure development and improved regulatory transparency.

UAE Real Estate Market: An Overview

Looking ahead, Al Saleh explained that the market’s positive performance can be attributed to the emirate’s stable legislative environment. He also added that the stable performance will continue to strengthen investor confidence.

Saleh also explained that this initiative of long-term strategic planning and governance is being supported by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The plan is also supported by the constant management of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
