Netflix’s ‘Wednesday’ Season 3 could arrive in summer 2027, with Jenna Ortega returning as ‘Wednesday’ Addams. Netflix did not announce an official release date yet. The series follows ‘Wednesday’ at Nevermore Academy, where she investigates dangerous mysteries while dealing with her family and friendships.
The first two seasons also focused on her bond with Enid Sinclair. The third season will continue the story after the events of Season 2. The upcoming episodes are expected to explore a major mystery surrounding ‘Wednesday’s’ Aunt Ophelia.
Aunt Ophelia’s disappearance is set to become one of the central storylines in the new season. ‘Wednesday’ is expected to investigate the mystery as she uncovers more secrets linked to her family.
Enid Sinclair, played by Emma Myers, is also expected to receive greater focus. Her friendship with Wednesday became an important part of the series. Tyler Galpin could also return in Season 3. However, his comeback is not officially confirmed.
Co-creator Alfred Gough also shared his goal for the upcoming season. He said, “Our goal for season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can.”
Jenna Ortega will reprise her role as ‘Wednesday’ Addams. Catherine Zeta-Jones is expected to return as Morticia Addams, while Luis Guzman is likely to return as Gomez Addams. Season 3 will also introduce several new cast members. Netflix confirmed Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer for the new season.
Eva Green will also join the series as Aunt Ophelia. Her character will have a direct connection to the central mystery planned for Season 3. For now, fans will have to wait for Netflix to confirm the official release date. The third season is expected to stream exclusively on Netflix, following the release pattern of the earlier seasons.
