Acer has launched two new laptops powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. These models expand the company’s snap-in lineup, with a premium convertible and a budget-friendly option. Swift Spin 14 AI and Aspire Go 15 offer on-device AI features, long battery life, and support for Windows 11 Copilot+.
Swift Spin 14 AI runs on Snapdragon X2 Elite or X2 Plus processors and offers up to 80 TOPS NPU performance for AI tasks. Acer has designed it as a lightweight convertible laptop focused on productivity and mobility. It comes with a 14-inch WUXGA touchscreen, 120Hz refresh rate, and full sRGB colour support. The 360-degree hinge allows it to switch between laptop and tablet modes. It also includes an Acer Active Stylus based on Wacom AES 2.0 technology.
The laptop weighs 1.34kg and uses an aluminium body with MIL-STD-810H durability certification. It includes dual USB4 Type-C ports, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, and an HDMI 2.1 port for connectivity. Acer claims up to 23 hours of video playback and 16.5 hours of web browsing. It has a 65Wh battery with 100W fast charging and supports up to three external 4K displays.
Aspire Go 15 is the first laptop to use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon C processor. It is made for entry-level users and basic everyday tasks. It has a 15.6-inch Full HD display, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage.
The laptop includes a 53Wh battery, but official battery life has not been shared. Acer has also used recycled materials in the build and packaging and added Energy Star and EPEAT certifications.
Both laptops support Windows 11 Copilot+ PC features with built-in AI processing. Swift Spin 14 AI uses its 80 TOPS NPU for smart, context-based actions through Click-to-Do.
Acer has also added its own AI tools like PurifiedView for better video quality, PurifiedVoice for noise reduction, and AcerSense for system control. The laptop also comes with a 5MP IR camera, Windows Hello login, and automatic lock when the user moves away.
The Swift Spin 14 AI will be available in EMEA markets from July 2026. Acer has not yet shared UAE pricing or exact availability. Aspire Go 15 launch date will be announced later, with regional availability expected closer to the release date.
Acer is focusing more on AI-powered PCs for better productivity and efficiency with these launches. The use of Snapdragon processors shows a move toward longer battery life, on-device AI features, and lighter laptops for both high-end and budget users.
