Anthropic has introduced two new tools for its artificial intelligence assistant, Claude, as it expands its workplace productivity offerings. Announced on October 8, 2026, Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion aim to help users analyse business data and create animated visual content through natural-language prompts. The launch comes as AI companies compete to make their assistants more useful for everyday business tasks.
Claude Dashboards allows users to create live dashboards and analyse business information by asking questions in plain English. The tool connects to business data platforms, including Google BigQuery, Snowflake and Databricks, as well as customer relationship management software such as Salesforce.
The feature aims to reduce the need for users to write SQL queries or depend on technical teams for routine data analysis. Business professionals can use natural-language instructions to explore information and present relevant findings through dashboards.
Anthropic has launched Claude Dashboards in beta for paid Claude plans. The company expects the feature to help teams access business insights more directly and simplify data-driven decision-making.
Anthropic also introduced Claude Motion, a tool that converts information and ideas into animated explainers. Users can create visual content for presentations, reports and product demonstrations, then edit the results to suit their requirements.
The tool is designed for users who want to communicate complex information through motion rather than static slides. It also allows users to export completed animations as MP4 video files, making them easier to incorporate into presentations and other communication formats. Claude Motion is currently in beta for Team and Enterprise customers.
The move expands access to tools that help users prepare documents, build presentations and develop visual designs. Their wider availability also strengthens Claude's position as an integrated productivity assistant. The latest additions reflect Anthropic's broader effort to extend Claude beyond conversational assistance.
