ASUS is celebrating 20 years of its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand with a high-end ‘Edition 20’ lineup. The new range focuses on luxury, using real 24K gold accents across select products.

This new lineup marks a transition from traditional gaming peripherals. ASUS appears to position these products as premium collectibles in addition to gaming peripherals. Their designs also feature black and gold tones in celebration of the anniversary.

ASUS ROG Goes Premium for 20th Anniversary

According to ASUS Republic of Gamers' announcement, “The collection includes the ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 wireless keyboard ($599.99), ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 mouse ($259.99) and ROG Keycap Mystery Box Edition 20 ($24.99), all available for pre-order starting June 1, 2026.”

The main attraction is the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 gaming mouse, which combines the gold accents with a translucent body and RGB lighting. ASUS pairs the premium design with high-end hardware. The mouse features a 65,000 DPI sensor, an 8,000Hz polling rate, tri-mode connectivity and weighs 82 grams.

The combination aims to make the device both a high-performance gaming tool and a display-worthy collector's item. The ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 gaming keyboard represents another gold-themed device from the company featuring a metal body, OLED screen and user-programmable keys.

Built for Collectors, Not the Mass Market

ASUS also decided to use the same branding across all gaming gear products, including the ROG Azoth gaming chair and ROG backpacks.

The Edition 20 lineup targets serious collectors and brand fans who want something unique. Given this, these items carry premium price tags. Average shoppers will likely find that the slight performance bumps do not justify the steep cost, since the real appeal here depends almost entirely on owning a rare, high-quality piece.

With its Edition 20 collection, ASUS seeks to pay homage to its ROG heritage with its aesthetics and materials selection. The inclusion of genuine gold shows that ASUS wants to stand out from its competitors.
