Apple's latest iPhone lineup arrived with a noticeable price difference across major markets. The US starting prices are $1,999 for the iPhone Duo and $1,199 for the iPhone 18 Pro. The UAE is a relatively cheaper market for Apple's new devices. The iPhone Duo starts at AED 8,499, equivalent to roughly Rs. 2.19 lakh, while the iPhone 18 Pro starts at AED 5,099, or around Rs. 1.32 lakh. Apple's UAE store confirms both starting prices.
Saudi Arabia also offers lower headline pricing than India. Apple's Saudi store lists the iPhone Duo from SAR 9,499, while regional pricing comparisons place the iPhone 18 Pro below its Indian equivalent.
For shoppers traveling abroad, these differences can make markets such as the US and UAE look considerably more attractive, although you should consider taxes, currency conversion, warranty coverage, and import rules before buying.
The UK is not as cheap as the US or UAE when the prices are converted into Indian currency. The iPhone Duo starts at GBP 1,999, which works out to about Rs. 2.56 lakh, compared with Rs. 2,99,900 in India. The UK iPhone 18 Pro also sits much closer to India's pricing than the US equivalent.
The difference becomes dramatic with the foldable iPhone. At Rs. 2,99,900, India's starting price is more than Rs. 1 lakh higher than the approximate US price before American sales tax. The UAE and UK also remain cheaper than India, at approximately Rs. 2.19 lakh and Rs. 2.56 lakh respectively.

For the iPhone 18 Pro, India pricing starts at Rs. 1,64,900, compared with roughly Rs. 1.14 lakh in the US and Rs. 1.32 lakh in the UAE. The comparison shows that Indian buyers are paying a substantial premium for Apple's newest premium iPhones.
This makes the US the clear low-price option among the five markets, at least based on Apple's advertised sticker prices.
Converted at the exchange rates used for the comparison, these work out to roughly Rs. 1.89 lakh and Rs. 1.14 lakh, respectively. However, US Apple Store prices do not include state or local sales tax.
This still leaves a sizeable gap between the US and Indian prices, particularly for the company's first foldable iPhone.
