Dubai-based CNTXT AI has raised $60 million in a Series A funding round led by AI71 and BlueFive Capital. The company announced the investment will support global expansion and development of AI systems focused on data sovereignty for governments and enterprises.

The funding comes as countries and institutions increase demand for AI platforms that allow data to stay within national borders while still enabling large-scale processing and analysis.

CNTXT AI builds AI infrastructure that allows organizations to use and analyse their data without moving it outside their own systems. The company also provides data preparation, labeling, and review services using a mix of human input and automated tools.

Data Sovereignty and Regulated AI

The company reported that the platform is designed for sectors where privacy, compliance, and data control are critical. This includes government bodies, corporate data teams, AI labs, and robotics applications.

CNTXT AI positions its approach around ‘sovereign AI,’ where data remains within approved geographic or institutional boundaries. This model is gaining attention as global regulations on data transfer continue to tighten.

The company also develops AI tools that can be deployed on-premise or in cloud environments while maintaining full control over sensitive datasets.

Products and Enterprise Adoption

CNTXT AI’s product suite includes Munsit, an Arabic voice AI platform that has processed over one million minutes of speech and serves more than 250 enterprises and 150,000 users.

It also offers TestAI, a system used to evaluate AI model performance before deployment in real-world environments. The company stated it works with global technology firms, including Oracle, NVIDIA, and AWS, and has supported large-scale AI deployments across enterprise and government sectors.

Founder Highlights Shift

CNTXT AI founder and Chief Executive Mohammad Abu Sheikh explained that the company is focused on real-world deployment of AI systems.

“The era of AI experimentation is over; the era of execution has begun. This funding strengthens our ability to build the sovereign infrastructure and talent needed to deploy AI at scale. Our focus has always been on making AI work in the real world, under the most demanding conditions," he added.

Why Investors are Backing

AI71 and BlueFive Capital stated that CNTXT AI’s infrastructure-led approach aligns with the growing demand for secure AI systems in regulated environments.

Reda Nidhakou, member of the AI71 board of directors and CEO of VentureOne, highlighted the company’s execution speed and global relevance.

“CNTXT AI capabilities and speed of execution stand out in this fast-moving AI world. An impressive venture born in the UAE but addressing global AI deployment needs. This investment strengthens our ability to build the environment needed to deploy AI at scale and to address our clients' data sovereignty requirements," he said.

Hazem Ben-Gacem, Founder and CEO of BlueFive Capital, explained that the company is focused on turning raw data into usable AI outcomes.

"We backed CNTXT AI because they are building exactly the kind of technology-driven platform the region needs, one that turns raw data into real AI outcomes. This is the type of globally competitive business we want to build alongside."

Expansion Plans and Market Outlook

CNTXT AI plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development and expand into new international markets. The company is targeting governments and enterprises seeking AI adoption without losing control over data security and compliance.

The latest funding adds to rising investment activity in sovereign AI infrastructure, where control over data has become a central requirement for large-scale deployment across industries.
