Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) is adding 1,607 Arabia Taxi vehicles to Bolt in Dubai under a new partnership. This partnership aims to increase taxi availability and reduce passenger waiting times.

The integration will expand the number of vehicles available to Bolt customers, especially during periods of high demand. DTC said the move is also expected to improve fleet utilization and service reliability.

More Taxis to Join Bolt Platform

The partnership will bring Arabia Taxi's full 1,607-vehicle fleet onto the Bolt platform. Customers are expected to benefit from quicker bookings and shorter estimated arrival times as more vehicles become available through the app. Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, Group CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, said the expansion was focused on improving the customer experience.

“At Dubai Taxi Company, every expansion of our mobility network is ultimately about delivering a better experience for our customers,” he highlighted.

He said the partnership would help DTC respond to rising demand for app-based transport while expanding its mobility network.

The CEO added, “As demand for app-based mobility continues to grow, partnerships such as this reinforce our ability to scale efficiently while supporting Dubai’s vision of becoming one of the world’s smartest and most connected cities.”

DTC Expands its Mobility Network

DTC operates more than 11,000 vehicles in Dubai, including more than 9,500 taxis. The company has been operating since 1994 and has expanded into taxis, VIP limousines, buses and last-mile delivery services. DTC describes itself as Dubai’s largest taxi operator by fleet size, with about 59% of the emirate’s taxi market. Its taxis and limousines completed 53 million trips in 2025.

Arabia Taxi has operated in Dubai for more than 20 years. It is part of Economic Group Holdings, which operates more than 7,800 taxis across the UAE and manages more than 100 subsidiaries. Rawoof Ali, executive director of Arabia Taxi, said the Bolt partnership would give the company’s drivers access to more customers.

“Joining the Bolt platform through this partnership with Dubai Taxi Company marks an important milestone for Arabia Taxi,” he said, adding that the agreement would also help improve operational efficiency while connecting the fleet with a wider digital customer base.
