Apple launched a new 14-inch MacBook Pro and 24-inch iMac powered by its M6 chip in the UAE. Customers can pre-order both devices from Wednesday, October 28, at 9:10 pm local time through the Apple online store and Apple Store app.
The company will begin deliveries and in-store sales on Friday, November 6. The launch keeps Apple’s UAE pricing close to its earlier line-up. The MacBook Pro starts at AED 8,499, while the iMac begins at AED 6,499.
The new 14-inch MacBook Pro is powered by the M6 chip with a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU. Apple said the chip delivers up to 30 percent faster graphics performance and up to 25 percent faster AI performance than the M5.
The base model includes 16GB of unified memory and a 1TB SSD. Customers can choose higher memory and storage configurations, with prices rising to AED 14,299. The laptop features a 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display. Apple says the screen reaches 1,600 nits of peak HDR brightness and offers a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
The MacBook Pro also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, while offering faster storage options. The company claims up to 24 hours of battery life, depending on usage. The laptop comes in Space Black and silver. It runs macOS 27, which includes Apple’s updated Siri features and expanded AI capabilities.
Apple also refreshed its 24-inch iMac with the M6 chip while retaining the all-in-one design. The entry model offers a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, while the higher configuration provides 12 cores for both.
The desktop starts at AED 6,499. The 12-core version is priced from AED 7,499. Education customers can buy the entry model at AED 6,299 and the higher model at AED 7,099. Apple continues to offer the iMac in seven colors: blue, green, pink, yellow, purple, orange and silver.
