The company unveiled new Ray-Ban Meta glasses, camera-free audio glasses, a new Meta VR glasses platform, and several AI-powered features to make its devices more useful in everyday situations.

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 and New Audio Glasses

The third-generation Ray-Ban Meta glasses feature a slimmer design, longer battery life, and an updated action button for quicker access to Meta AI. The glasses feature a 12-megapixel camera capable of recording 3K Ultra HD video and can deliver up to nine hours of battery life.

Meta also introduced Ray-Ban Meta Audio, its first dedicated audio glasses. Weighing 43 grams, the glasses are designed to provide music playback, calls, and hands-free AI access without a camera or display. They offer up to 12 hours of use on a charge and start at USD 349 in the US.

Muse AI Comes to Meta Glasses

Meta announced that its Muse personal AI agent is coming to its AI glasses. Users will be able to interact with Muse hands-free for tasks such as planning activities, tracking goals, and getting help throughout the day.

The company also announced hearing-enhancement features for compatible glasses, along with improvements that can provide more detailed AI responses about objects and surroundings.

Meta VR Glasses Arrive

One of the biggest announcements was Meta VR Glasses, a lightweight virtual-reality device weighing about 100 grams. It combines immersive entertainment with a private multi-screen workspace and gesture-based controls.

The glasses will support 3D movies, immersive sports, and gaming, while a connected battery puck will provide power. Meta says the device will launch in spring 2027 at USD 1,299.99.
