Meta has revealed a new global range of smart glasses created with eyewear company EssilorLuxottica. The flagship combines various fashion styles with built-in AI features, showing Meta’s continued focus on wearable technology.
The launch also includes a special edition designed with Kylie Jenner, marking her first move into wearable tech. Meta says the new glasses are designed to offer both style and utility, appealing to a broader range of customers.
The latest lineup comes in three main designs. Meta Adventurer features a rectangular frame for users who prefer simple, everyday style. Meta Fury carries a more bold design for users who prioritize aesthetics. The Kylie edition has a slim oval frame inspired by her personal style.
Meta confirmed that the designs are intended to suit different face shapes, occasions, and fashion preferences. This makes the product closer to a lifestyle accessory than a standalone gadget.
Meta glasses start at AED 1098.08 ($299) for non-Ray-Ban variants. The company has also introduced 26 style combinations across frames and colors including black, green, linen, merlot, mahogany, sandstone, and tortoise finishes.
Lens choices include clear, polarised, Transitions, and sun lenses. Users can also add prescription lenses through opticians without affecting warranty coverage, widening accessibility for regular eyewear users.
The smart glasses include Meta AI integration, open-ear speakers, and a microphone system designed for calls, messaging, and voice commands. Battery life extends beyond eight hours on a single charge. A charging case adds up to 40 additional hours of use for extended daily wear.
Along with the glasses, Meta also introduced an upgraded Muse Spark, an AI model that can understand what a user sees and helps with daily tasks like reminders, schedules, and building habits.
The update also adds new features such as improved photo tools, walking directions, and live translation. The translation feature now supports languages like Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin Chinese.
Meta is focusing more on AI-powered wearables with this launch, where smart devices and digital assistance work together in everyday use.
