Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are set to hit the UAE market on Friday, September 18, following a pre-order window that opened on September 12. However, customers who missed the pre-order cannot simply walk into an Apple Store and purchase one on launch day.
Apple is following a controlled launch process in the UAE. Customers who successfully placed pre-orders for in-store pickup will receive details about when they can collect their devices.
According to reports, “Apple Stores will not offer regular walk-in purchases on September 18. The company may have additional units after completing pre-order collections, but those devices would become available only later and on a first-come, first-served basis.”
This means buyers who missed pre-orders should not assume that visiting an Apple Store early on launch day will guarantee a phone.
Apple’s UAE pricing starts at AED 5,099 for the 256GB iPhone 18 Pro. The 512GB, 1TB and 2TB variants go up to AED 5,949, AED 7,649 and AED 10,199, respectively.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at AED 5,499 for 256GB and rises to AED 10,599 for the 2TB model. Apple lists the devices as available from September 18.
Looking ahead, some UAE buyers reported that certain pre-order configurations sold out within minutes. Retailers also indicated that demand could affect prices for buyers seeking devices immediately outside official channels.
For consumers who missed the pre-order, the key point is clear: an iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max may still be available, but launch-day availability is not guaranteed.
