Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 FE has popped up on Geekbench, giving a clear indication of what will power the next-gen ‘Fan Edition’ phone. The benchmark listing (model SM-S741N) shows the unannounced phone will run an in-house Exynos 2500 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The early testing suggests Samsung will stick to its usual playbook of offering flagship-tier silicon at a lower price point.

Geekbench Listing Reveals Core Hardware

Leaked reports indicate that the Korean variant of the Galaxy S26 FE is powered by Samsung's Exynos 2500 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM. According to reports, the phone scored 2,426 and 8,004 on the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 FE smartphone (model name SM-S741U) has been found on the Geekbench database, revealing a chip equipped with an Exynos SoC. This particular chipset features:

  • A deca-core CPU configuration with one Prime core clocked at a maximum of 3.30GHz

  • Two mid-cores clocked at 2.75GHz

  • Five additional mid-cores clocked at 2.36GHz

  • Two base cores clocked at 1.80GHz.

Looks like the upcoming phone will bring some enhancements over its predecessor. The Galaxy S26 FE is powered by Android 17 and the upcoming Samsung One UI 9 software.

Expected Features and Design Upgrades

The Galaxy S26 FE will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a battery of around 5,000mAh, and storage capacity up to 512GB. The phone will also retain its triple camera system with a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 8MP telephoto lens.

In terms of design, Samsung is going to upgrade it by adding a premium look and a camera housing that resembles the flagship Galaxy S26 series. The new updates mark a departure from the previous generation of FE models, which had separate camera cutouts.

Samsung has not officially unveiled the Galaxy S26 FE. The device will launch either at the end of August or at the beginning of September 2026.
