Truecaller launched Post-Call Actions, a new enterprise feature that lets consumers complete tasks immediately after a verified business call. The feature is initially being rolled out for last-mile delivery companies.

Post-Call Actions automatically displays a branded action card in the Truecaller app when a verified business call ends. Customers can use the card to complete the next step without downloading another app or searching for a separate link.

Feature to Expand Across Financial Services

For delivery services, customers can use Post-Call Actions to reschedule deliveries, confirm availability, share their location or authorize a safe drop. The feature is designed to reduce the steps customers need to take after speaking with a delivery company.

Truecaller said the feature will next support use cases in banking, financial services and insurance. Customers will be able to pay dues, request a callback, complete pending KYC steps, or confirm transactions from the same screen after an eligible business call.

The company said Post-Call Actions are available only after Verified Business calls. This approach is intended to give customers a trusted setting for completing tasks linked to business conversations.

Truecaller also said the feature gives businesses a different way to assess the outcome of customer calls. Instead of focusing only on whether a call was answered, companies can track whether the required follow-up was completed.

Priyam Bose, Global Head, GTM, Truecaller for Business, said the feature addresses the gap between a business conversation and the action that follows it.

“A phone call has been the most human way for a business to communicate with customers. But it usually ends with homework for them," Bose said. "Post-Call Actions resolve this. The delivery gets rescheduled, the bill gets paid, the KYC gets done, all in the same trusted moment, on the same screen, irrespective of the calls getting picked up or unanswered,” Bose added.

The launch expands Truecaller's enterprise communication services as businesses look for ways to move customers from phone conversations to completed actions.

Truecaller confirmed that the company has more than 500 million active users globally and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since October 2021.
