An Indian-origin woman living in the UAE has praised Dubai’s healthcare system after receiving treatment for a leg injury within an hour. Her experience has sparked a discussion online about healthcare services in Dubai and the UK.
Mirutula shared her experience in a video posted on social media after she injured her leg and visited a hospital in Dubai, where the consultation itself took only five minutes.
Mirutula said, “The hospital also asked whether I had flat feet and prepared the cast accordingly. I hurt my leg, came to the hospital, completed the consultation in five minutes, and finished the whole process within one hour. ”
She further added that she would have been able to carry this CD to any other hospital if needed. In addition to this, she also got her medication from the hospital.
Mirutula compared her Dubai experience with a previous visit to an emergency room in the UK, where she had to wait for six hours for a consultation. The comparison led her to praise the healthcare services available in Dubai. She said, “I was really and truly blessed to call Dubai my home.”
Looking ahead, Mritula explained that people should not take the quality of healthcare facilities in the UAE for granted. Her comments reflected her personal experience rather than a broader assessment of healthcare systems in the two countries.
