Xiaomi has launched the all-new Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro globally. The new lineup includes improved performance, battery capacity, and cameras. The company seems to be sticking to its trend of making high-end and mid-range smartphones. The main focus is to upgrade the hardware. The phone is expected to hit Indian markets on June 4.

Xiaomi Expands 17T Lineup Globally

You may be wondering about the new features expected to come in the Xiaomi smartphone lineup. Both models come with 1.5K AMOLED screens, designed for those customers who seek high-quality visuals.

The Xiaomi 17T includes a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This number becomes 144Hz for the Pro version, providing better animation effects. Xiaomi enhances its design by introducing slim bezels and premium finishing.

The Xiaomi 17T utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. Its pro version is equipped with a more advanced Dimensity 9500 chipset. Both devices contain 12 GB of RAM, allowing for smooth performance. Such a configuration is ideal for users seeking reliable performance at reasonable prices.

The company also increases its cooperation with the Leica brand with this launch. All models in the series are equipped with three rear cameras. These consist of a 50 MP primary module and a 5x telephoto lens. Leica tuning makes the cameras produce high-quality photos.

Xiaomi 17T: Price and Battery Performance

A significant feature is the battery capacity. Xiaomi 17T is equipped with a 6500mAh battery, and the Pro version features a 7000mAh battery. The Pro version provides fast wired charging capabilities, in addition to wireless charging. Xiaomi intends to minimize the frequency of charging and increase the battery life.

Xiaomi 17T costs about 3,202.95 AED, while the Pro version is priced at about 3,844.39 AED. The price in India will most likely be more budget-friendly. Experts suggest that the firm would most probably be targeting its competitors in the upper mid-range category.
