Abu Dhabi is ready to host a landmark global summit. An ambitious $57 billion infrastructure pipeline will be launched at the event, and this signals the emirate's drive to shape the next era of urban development. The high-profile gathering will bring together policymakers, investors, and industry leaders, highlighting the UAE's growing influence as a hub for transformative large-scale investment.

Abu Dhabi Summit: A New Investment

The Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit (ADIS 2026) will start from May 12 to 14 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. This summit aims to bring together stakeholders from across the global infrastructure ecosystem.

Organised by the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre, the event aims to go beyond planning discussions and focus on execution. The project shifts towards the supply chain sector to make a real-world impact. The summit aims to deliver a project pipeline exceeding $57 billion across key sectors. These include:

  • Housing

  • Transport

  • Education

  • Culture

  • Social Infrastructure

According to some officials, this wider portfolio showcases the Emirate’s long-term strategy to build integrated, future-ready cities. The ADIS 2026 will also showcase Abu Dhabi’s plan to build sustainable, smart, and people-centric cities. These cities will combine advanced modern infrastructure, mobility systems, and integrated community planning.

Abu Dhabi’s Billion Infrastructure Ahead

The upcoming project in Abu Dhabi is more than just a dream; it represents concrete progress. Some experts suggest that the country has a number of projects already in development. In 2025 alone, approximately 100 capital projects were completed.

The summit will also serve as a platform for global collaboration. The plan is to bring developers, government officials, CEOs, and investors to address some major challenges. The current challenges revolve around sustainability, rapid urbanisation, and infrastructure financing.

Moreover, the event signals Abu Dhabi’s intent to transition from large-scale planning to large-scale delivery, reinforcing its status as a global hub for infrastructure innovation and sustainable urban development.
