Acer has expanded its TravelMate business laptop lineup with new AI-powered models. These laptops are aimed at enterprise users, mobile professionals, and office teams. The refreshed range includes the TravelMate P6 14 AI, TravelMate P2 Spin 14, TravelMate X2 15 and TravelMate X2 14.

The new laptops combine Intel’s latest platforms, dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs), security tools and business-focused features. Acer is positioning the range as a solution for companies looking to upgrade device fleets with improved productivity and management capabilities.

Acer’s AI Push

The TravelMate P6 14 AI is the flagship model in the updated lineup. It weighs under 1 kg and includes a 71 Wh battery, Wi-Fi 7 support and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. Acer Display Lens is one of the key software additions. The feature can enlarge on-screen content up to four times, replay meeting highlights in slow motion and scan QR codes displayed during video calls. The laptop also includes Acer’s PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice features for camera and audio improvements.

These tools are supported by AI processing through the NPU, reducing dependence on the CPU and GPU for certain workloads. The P6 comes with a 5 MP IR camera, physical camera shutter, ProShield Plus encryption, and an optional chassis intrusion alarm. Acer claims the battery can provide up to 30 hours of usage with fast charging support through Power Delivery.

Features and Specifications

The TravelMate P2 Spin 14 is built for users who need touchscreen and pen support. It comes with a 360-degree hinge, a 14-inch WUXGA touchscreen, and works with the Wacom AES 2.0 stylus. It has a 5 MP front camera and another 5 MP camera on the outside for capturing documents or showing physical items during meetings.

The laptop also includes Bluetooth 6.0, TPM 2.0 security, and MIL-STD 810H durability certification. Acer’s DustDefender feature helps remove dust from the cooling system at regular intervals. The TravelMate X2 15 and X2 14 models are designed for regular office work. The X2 15 comes with a 15.6-inch IPS display and a numeric keypad, making it useful for accounting and data-related tasks.

The X2 14 features a 14-inch WUXGA display and weighs 1.4 kg for easier carrying. Both models support Wi-Fi 6E and offer security features such as TPM 2.0 and optional fingerprint readers.

The Bigger Picture

Acer’s latest TravelMate range places AI capabilities alongside security and device management features. While AI tools attract attention, enterprise buyers are likely to evaluate security, durability, service support and long-term ownership costs.

The company has not announced pricing or regional availability details for the new models. The P6 appears positioned as the premium business option, while the P2 Spin and X2 series target specialised and everyday workplace needs. The final decision for fleet upgrades will depend on pricing, performance testing and availability.
