Casio Middle East & Africa has introduced the G-SHOCK MTG-B4000BD-1A in the UAE.  The company expanded its premium MT-G lineup with a model priced at AED 6,505. The watch is already available through Dubai retailer The Watch House, which lists the price inclusive of tax and offers a four-installment payment of AED 1,626.25 each.

The UAE pricing is in line with its Hong Kong price of HK$12,840 and Japan-market listings. This keeps Casio's global premium pricing strategy rather than positioning it as a mainstream G-SHOCK model.

Premium Build Takes Centre Stage

MTG-B4000BD-1A combines carbon fibre and stainless steel in Casio's latest Dual Core Guard structure. The company claims the frame was developed using AI trained on impact-resistance data. The case features layered carbon and glass fibre materials that create a textured finish, while the black ion-plated stainless steel bezel combines hairline and mirror-polished surfaces. Manufactured at Yamagata Casio in Japan, the watch features a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.

It also carries Triple G Resist protection against shock, centrifugal force and vibration. The layered band blends stainless steel with carbon fibre-reinforced resin to reduce weight. Despite this, the watch weighs 178g and measures 56.6 × 45.3 × 14.4mm, giving it a noticeably substantial wrist presence.

Focus Stays on Reliability Over Smart Features

MTG-B4000BD-1A is an analogue watch with connected functions rather than a smartwatch. It runs on Tough Solar technology, eliminating routine battery replacements and charging. Timekeeping is supported through Multi Band 6 radio control and the Bluetooth-connected Casio Watches app.

Other features include 200-metre water resistance, World Time, a phone finder, a battery level indicator and a high-brightness LED light. Users can operate the watch without the app, though Bluetooth pairing simplifies time adjustments and settings.

Positioned for Premium Buyers

At AED 6,505, MTG-B4000BD-1A enters a price bracket that overlaps with premium smartwatches and entry-level Swiss automatic watches. Casio is targeting buyers looking for Japanese craftsmanship, rugged construction, and long-term durability rather than app-focused wearable technology.

Unlike the limited 500-piece MRG model introduced earlier in Dubai, the MTG-B4000BD-1A is part of the regular retail lineup and is available through select G-SHOCK retailers and the G-SHOCK Middle East & Africa online store.
