UAE-based private jet operator Falcon Luxe transferred its Gulfstream G450 and Global Express aircraft to its own UAE Air Operator Certificate (AOC). This marks another step in its strategy to build direct commercial operations.
The development was reported by ch-aviation on September 2, 2026. Falcon Luxe had previously relied on Falcon Aviation Services to operate several of its UAE-registered aircraft commercially. The latest transfer expands the number of aircraft operating under Falcon Luxe's own regulatory framework.
Alex Group Investment company Alex Jet Aviation Services helped Falcon Luxe obtain the UAE AOC. It was issued by GCAA in November 2025 and enabled UAE-registered planes to offer commercial passenger services from the state.
The first plane to provide commercial services using the license was the Bombardier Global Express XRS, with the registration number A6-AFC. Falcon Luxe announced earlier that this approval would offer executive chartered flights from Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai World Central.
The Gulfstream G450, registered A6-FLH, joined Falcon Luxe's fleet in July 2025 as the company's first Gulfstream aircraft. The jet can carry up to 14 passengers and has a published range of 4,350 nautical miles. Falcon Luxe positions the aircraft for long-range regional and international charter missions.
The AOC transition strengthens Falcon Luxe's position as a UAE-based charter operator. It will also give the company greater control over aircraft deployment, commercial operations and regulatory compliance.
The move also supports the wider Alex Group strategy of building an integrated private aviation business spanning charter, fixed-base operations, flight support and maintenance.
