Rockstar Games is set to unveil a deeper look at Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) through an unusual partnership with Netflix. The presentation, titled “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look,” will premiere for Netflix subscribers on Thursday, August 27, before reaching Rockstar’s online channels six hours later.
For UAE audiences, the Netflix premiere date is scheduled for 11 pm on Thursday, 27th August. According to Rockstar, the reveal will start at 3 pm EST in the United States. Afterward, it will become available for viewing on the official YouTube channel and the GTA VI website at 9 pm EST or 5 am UAE time on Friday, 28th August.
This allows Netflix viewers from the UAE to view it earlier. Other viewers who do not subscribe to Netflix can also view it for free via Rockstar’s platform.
Rockstar did not disclose the full contents or runtime of the Extended Look. However, the presentation is expected to provide more detail about the game’s world, characters and gameplay.
GTA 6 will take players back to Vice City, Rockstar’s fictional version of Miami, while expanding the setting across the state of Leonida. The story centres on Jason and Lucia, who become partners after a criminal job goes wrong and draws them into a wider conspiracy.
The Extended Look arrives ahead of GTA 6’s scheduled launch on November 19, 2026. The game is confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. Rockstar has yet to announce a PC release.
With expectations running high, the showcase could become one of the biggest gaming reveals of 2026. Fans should rely on Rockstar’s official footage rather than unverified clips circulating online.
