OMODA & JAECOO are expanding their technology ambitions beyond connected vehicles by showcasing how artificial intelligence, humanoid robots, and autonomous mobility solutions could support the UAE's evolving smart city ecosystem. With the help of the AiMOGA robot car program and VPD (Valet Parking Driver), the automobile company is redefining itself from being merely an auto manufacturer to a technology company.

AI Robots Move Beyond the Automotive Sector

The robotics system proposed by AiMOGA uses automotive AI systems’ application in public spaces. This requires the incorporation of autonomy, perception of the environment, cloud connectivity, and multilingual conversations in order to service customers in different settings.

One of their recent implementations includes ‘Wuyou,’ an intelligent traffic robot that provides support for traffic patrol and traffic control. Another humanoid robot called ‘Mornine’ offers support through multilingual conversations, venue guidance, and customer support. These solutions have already been rolled out in more than 100 different practical applications, including exhibitions, showrooms, sports events, and public engagement spaces in more than 30 countries.

Driverless Parking Technology Targets Smart Cities

Alongside robotics, OMODA & JAECOO is promoting its AI-powered VPD (Valet Parking Driver) system, which allows vehicles to locate parking spaces, park autonomously, and return to drivers using intelligent summon functions.

The technology is aimed at high-density urban environments such as airports, shopping malls, hotels, and business districts, where parking congestion remains a challenge. Demonstrated at the Chery International Business Summit, the system forms part of the company's broader intelligent mobility strategy and is expected to be introduced in selected future vehicle models for the UAE market.

Supporting the UAE's AI and Smart Mobility Goals

The company believes the UAE provides an ideal environment for deploying advanced mobility technologies, given the country's investments in artificial intelligence, autonomous transport, and smart infrastructure.

According to OMODA & JAECOO, the ‘Human-Vehicle-Road-Cloud’ ecosystem of the company incorporates intelligent vehicles, robotics, cloud computing services, and AI solutions into the urban ecosystem. The possible fields of application may include airports, tourist centers, public transportation stations, shopping centers, and other large events.

Building an Intelligent Technology Ecosystem

This development is part of the company's larger shift from being an automobile brand to an ecosystem powered by AI technology. After experiencing rapid growth worldwide and in the UAE, OMODA & JAECOO intends to incorporate intelligent mobility and robotics into all of its future product range.

With more governments focusing on developing connected infrastructures, the convergence of AI cars and robots can be a critical feature of the future smart cities. This intersection of mobility, robotics, and artificial intelligence is a critical force in future city innovations, according to OMODA & JAECOO.
