Pokemon GO has announced a special Mega Pokemon event for November 28, 2026, bringing Mega Clefable to the mobile game for the first time. Called Clefable Super Mega Raid Day, the event will run from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, allowing players to battle the new Mega Evolution and encounter its Shiny variant.
Mega Clefable will make its debut through Super Mega Raids. Players who successfully catch Clefable from these raids will receive the Pokemon with Mega Level 1 already unlocked. The event will also introduce a new Mega progression milestone, allowing eligible Pokemon to reach Super Max Level.
The event will introduce Moonblast+ as an additional Charged Attack for Mega-Evolved Clefable. The Fairy-type move will have 80 power in Trainer Battles, with a chance to reduce the opponent's Attack by one stage. In Raid Battles, it will have a power of 160.
The move's power will increase with Clefable's Mega Level. Players must first raise a Pokemon's Mega Level to the third level, Max, before progressing to Super Max. Participating in Mega Raids and using Mega Energy will be necessary to complete the upgrade.
Pokemon GO will also host a Global Challenge alongside the event. Players worldwide can contribute by completing Raid Battles and unlocking different challenge tiers. The more tiers they complete, the greater the bonuses Mega Clefable will receive.
The challenge will run from November 27 at 5 pm PST until November 28 at 8 pm PST. Depending on the results, Mega Clefable will receive boosted Moonblast+ power and increased combat power at Super Max Level from November 30 to December 13.
Other event bonuses include up to six free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, an increased chance of encountering Shiny Clefable, and a Remote Raid limit raised to 20.

The bonuses will be available during the three-hour event on November 28.
