Realme announced a special Harry Potter Edition of its Realme 16 Pro 5G, giving the mid-range smartphone a wizarding-world makeover. Developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery and the Harry Potter franchise, the new edition combines a Hogwarts-inspired exterior with customized software elements.
Unlike a new hardware variant, the Harry Potter Edition retains the specifications of the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G. The focus is instead on the design and the overall experience, making the phone more appealing to collectors and Harry Potter fans.
Realme has yet to reveal the price or a confirmed sale date for the special edition in India. However, a dedicated Flipkart microsite suggests the handset will be sold through the e-commerce platform, alongside Realme's own website.
The biggest changes come to the phone's appearance. Realme has added a Hogwarts crest and other Harry Potter-themed details to the handset, while the software also receives custom elements inspired by the franchise.
The collaboration marks Realme's second partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. It follows the Realme 15 Pro 5G Game of Thrones Limited Edition, which arrived in India in October 2025 with Game of Thrones-inspired styling and customised software themes.
For fans, the new edition is therefore positioned less as a performance upgrade and more as a collectible version of an existing smartphone.
The core specifications remain unchanged. The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1,272x2,772-pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel reaches up to 1,400 nits of brightness, supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and covers the full DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Powering the phone is the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset paired with an Arm Mali-G615 GPU. The device runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 and is offered with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The camera setup also mirrors the regular Realme 16 Pro. It includes a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 50-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The phone packs a 7,000mAh Titan battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. With no changes to the internal hardware, the Harry Potter Edition's main draw will be its themed design and customised user experience.
Realme has not yet disclosed Indian pricing or availability details, so buyers will have to wait for the company's official sales announcement.
