ROX has delivered its first batch of 100 vehicles manufactured in the United Arab Emirates, marking a significant milestone in the country's efforts to strengthen its automotive industry and expand advanced manufacturing capabilities.
The vehicles carry the 'Made in the Emirates' mark and are part of the company's UAE Signature Edition. They were manufactured at ROX's AI Manufacturing Centre in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), with support from the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
The development supports the UAE's broader industrial diversification ambitions and ROX's growing manufacturing presence in Abu Dhabi.
ROX established its Abu Dhabi manufacturing facility in six months, bringing manufacturing, design and artificial intelligence capabilities together. The facility includes a Manufacturing Centre, an AI Lab and a Design Studio.
The project aligns with the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy and the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, also known as Operation 300bn. It is supported by MoIAT under the Make it in the Emirates initiative, which aims to strengthen industrial competitiveness and expand local manufacturing capabilities.
Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, Undersecretary of MoIAT, said the UAE is developing an integrated industrial and investment ecosystem to attract investment, expand advanced manufacturing and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and other technologies.
He added that ROX's operations combine government support, investment, industrial infrastructure and advanced technology. The delivery also creates opportunities to attract investment, develop national capabilities and strengthen local supply chains amid global supply chain challenges.

Mohammad Ali Al Kamali, Chief Trade and Industry Officer at ADIO, said ROX's journey demonstrates how investment can translate into industrial capabilities and opportunities for global growth. He noted that the project would support the localisation of industrial activities and strengthen supply chains.
Jarvis, Founder and CEO of ROX, described the delivery as an important milestone in the company's long-term commitment to Abu Dhabi and the UAE. He said ROX would continue expanding manufacturing operations, developing local capabilities and strengthening supply chains.
Each vehicle in the UAE Signature Edition is a luxury SUV, produced through a numbered production process designed for regional market requirements. Continued production at ICAD/KEZAD is expected to support ROX's expansion into regional markets.
