TCL has introduced its 2026 SQD Mini-LED television lineup to the UAE market, increasing the competition in the high-end television segment. The flagship X11L series leads the launch, which delivers peak HDR brightness of up to 10,000 nits through its Mini-LED display technology.
The company introduced the X11L, C8L, and C7L series during its regional showcase. The new range combines upgraded quantum dot technology with improved Mini-LED backlighting. The aim is to deliver better brightness, contrast, and colour precision.
TCL X11L emerges as the company’s flagship television for 2026. The device supports up to 20,736 local dimming zones on its larger display options. The display reportedly enhances HDR performance and decreases the brightness halo effect, which appears around luminous objects.
The television is available in large-screen formats, including 85-inch and 98-inch models. The X11L display system features a WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel and a Bang & Olufsen audio system, which TCL uses to establish premium product status. The company designed its ultra-high brightness output to support cinematic viewing, gaming, and sports viewing in bright environments.
The company stated, “The ultra-high brightness output is designed for cinematic viewing, gaming, and sports content in brightly lit environments. Alongside the flagship range, TCL introduced the C8L and C7L series for consumers looking for premium features at lower price points.”
Moreover, the SQD Mini series comes with big screen formats and advanced HDR capabilities, providing users with a theater-like watching experience at home. The new TCL lineup includes AI picture optimisation and gaming enhancement features.
TCL launched its new products, highlighting its expansion plans for the premium electronics market in the Middle East. The company also introduced new soundbars together with a 163-inch Micro-LED display at the event. Experts suggest that major brands are developing larger screens with greater brightness levels, thus intensifying competition.
