Vivo dropped the official teaser for the Vivo S2 in India, marking the return of its S-series smartphones after seven years. The company has revealed the phone through dedicated teaser pages, offering the first glimpse of its design while keeping most hardware specifications under wraps.
The teaser presents the Vivo S2 phone featuring a Silk White finish, a round rear camera lens, two large camera lenses, and one circular flash or Aura Light. The design is inspired by the flagship phones of Vivo. Thus, justifying the claims made by Vivo regarding its ‘ flagship-inspired design.’
The S2 model is positioned as a high-end phone offering elegance along with a multimedia experience. The key features of the teaser include flagship-inspired design, performance powerhouse, beautiful photos and videos, and immersive audio-visual experience.
Vivo S2 has its own microsite on Flipkart, which means that the smartphone will be launched on the online shopping site after its release. It has not yet been announced when exactly the launch will take place.
Several reports indicate the Vivo S2 could feature a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 processor, and a large battery. You could also expect two rear-facing cameras led by a 50MP camera.
The device is expected to come in different storage variants and colours. The price may be lower than AED 1,532.64, making it a premium mid-ranger.
