Meta launched Meta One in the UAE, introducing subscription plans that offer additional features across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Meta AI. The service starts at AED 5.99 per month for WhatsApp Plus, while Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus cost AED 7.99 each.
The launch expands Meta’s subscription strategy beyond individual applications. The company said Meta One currently brings more than 50 features across its platforms, with additional products planned for the service.
The entry-level WhatsApp Plus subscription costs AED 5.99 per month. Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus are priced at AED 7.99 each.
For users seeking multiple services, Meta One Core costs AED 22.99 per month, while Premium is priced at AED 76.99. Creator and business subscriptions start at AED 46.99 and extend to AED 1,199 per month for the highest tier. Meta noted that pricing and feature availability can vary by region, app, and account.
Instagram Plus also offers custom fonts for direct messages and Stories, notifications for selected Story viewers, and DM previews. Facebook Plus adds Messenger customisation, expanded Reels insights and super reactions.
Meta further explained that users do not need to subscribe to continue using its core applications. WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and everyday Meta AI access will remain available for free.
The company is positioning Meta One as an optional upgrade for users seeking more AI usage, personalisation and professional capabilities. Meta said its subscription offerings have already generated 15 million subscriptions and trials during their phased rollout.
