Microsoft is adding nine games to Xbox Game Pass between October 8 and October 16, giving subscribers several new titles across different genres. The October lineup begins on October 8 with Echo Weaver, Forever Ago and Neon Abyss 2. All three titles will be available through Xbox Game Pass tiers that include Ultimate and PC, while Neon Abyss 2 will also join Premium.
Subscribers will then get three more games on October 13. Battlefield 6, Deep Dish Dungeon and Valor Mortis are scheduled to arrive that day.
Battlefield 6 is the biggest addition in this wave. The latest entry in the long-running first-person shooter series is coming to Xbox Game Pass more than a year after its original release. Valor Mortis offers a different experience as a first-person soulslike title. Neon Abyss 2 also stands out after receiving strong reviews following its launch last year.
The lineup continues on October 15 with Bluey’s Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts. Beyond These Stars will complete the current wave when it arrives on October 16. The latest additions follow the launch of Gears of War: E-Day earlier this month. The first-party title joined Xbox Game Pass on its release day.
Microsoft is also preparing to remove nine games from Xbox Game Pass on October 15. The outgoing titles include A Plague Tale: Requiem and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The departures will take place on the same day that two new games enter the service.
Subscribers therefore have limited time to play the departing titles before they are removed. The October additions give Xbox Game Pass subscribers several options across action, adventure, shooter and other genres. Microsoft has also continued balancing new releases with games leaving the catalogue during the month.
