Dahua Technology introduced its WITHS wireless camera series in the GCC for businesses and properties that need surveillance without the complexity of extensive cabling. With wireless and 4G connectivity options, the system can also be deployed where conventional wired infrastructure is difficult or expensive to install.
Dahua built the range around three principles: Simple, Smart, and Secure, to make surveillance easier to install and manage while adding more intelligent detection capabilities.
The WITHS series goes beyond conventional video monitoring by using AI to identify different types of activity. Depending on the model, cameras can distinguish between people, pets and vehicles to reduce false alerts.
Indoor models such as the Hero, Cube and Turret variants offer features including human and pet detection, auto tracking and two-way communication. Select models also include facial recognition, gesture-based interaction and 360-degree coverage.
Outdoor cameras in the Apollo, Picoo and Bullet ranges are designed for more demanding environments. They combine AI-based human and vehicle detection with Dahua's WizColor technology for improved low-light imaging. Some models also feature sound and light alarms for active deterrence.
A key feature of the WITHS portfolio is its flexibility in locations without dependable Wi-Fi or wired connectivity. Selected Apollo and Picoo models support 4G connectivity through SIM cards, allowing deployment at construction sites, temporary facilities, and other remote locations.
Some configurations also combine solar charging with onboard storage, reducing dependence on fixed power infrastructure. This makes the cameras suitable for locations where running cables or maintaining a conventional power supply can be challenging.

Dahua's DMSS mobile application allows users to monitor and control compatible cameras remotely. WITHS devices can also work alongside existing network video recorder systems, allowing them to add wireless cameras without necessarily replacing their current surveillance infrastructure.
According to Dahua, its management platforms can support centralized device administration, including remote diagnostics and firmware updates.
