Meta Muse is now available as a dedicated iPad app. The company is giving users access to the AI assistant just one month after its iPhone launch. Meta announced the iPad release on October 7. Muse first launched on iOS and Android on September 8. The AI assistant has crossed 6.6 million installs since its mobile debut, according to estimates from market intelligence firm Sensor Tower.

Muse is designed to handle everyday tasks through connected accounts. Users can link services related to email, meetings, bills and other parts of their online activity. The assistant can also help with tasks such as booking reservations, ordering groceries, setting goals and making purchases.

Muse with New Connectors

Meta is expanding the services that can work with Muse through what it calls ‘connectors.’ Users can choose which services they want to connect based on the tasks they want the AI assistant to handle. The iPad launch comes with several new connectors aimed at small businesses. These include Asana, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, Klaviyo, and Zoom.

Meta has also added connectors for its advertising accounts. Notion and Granola are among the other services added to the list. The company has recently added retail partners including Best Buy, Gap, Sephora, Walmart and Wayfair. These connections allow Muse to browse retailer websites and complete purchases for users.

However, AI agents can still face access problems. Some websites may identify them as bots and block their activity. Meta is working with industry partners on an open standard designed to help personal AI agents identify themselves to businesses. The system could help companies distinguish legitimate AI agents from unwanted automated traffic. The iPad expansion gives Muse a wider device presence as Meta continues building the assistant around connected services and task completion.
