Nawgati, a startup that works on fuel station technology, is expanding its mobility infrastructure platform as it plans to enter international markets. The startup currently has more than 30 lakh users and partnerships with major oil marketing companies, it recently secured $2.5 million in Pre-Series A funding, which will help the company strengthen its artificial intelligence platform and support its future growth plans.
Nawgati started by helping CNG users in India find fuel stations and avoid long waiting times. The company developed technology that made it easier for users to locate stations and manage queues. Later, Nawgati expanded its services for fuel retailers by creating digital tools that help station operators improve daily work and offer better customer service.
"We identified a recurring problem in India's fuel retail sector and built Nawgati to solve challenges faced by both users and retailers," said Vaibhav Kaushik, co-founder and CEO of Nawgati.
