The United Arab Emirates is embracing artificial intelligence in the workplace as companies push for aggressive digital transformation. Recent findings show that AI is no longer limited to tech roles. A growing number of professionals are using AI tools. Artificial intelligence has become a mainstream workplace tool across industries.
According to some reports, professionals are leading AI adoption, with nearly two-thirds of residents reporting higher productivity. The findings are based on the SixthFactor UAE AI Attitudes Study 2026. This survey was conducted in Q1 2026 among 1,046 UAE residents.
In support of this, Himanshu Vashishtha, founder and Global CEO, SixthFactor, said, “This study overturns a common assumption: that AI adoption is led by the young and resisted by the experienced. The 35-to-44 cohort is this country's professional engine. Their conviction that AI makes them more productive is not an aspiration; it is a lived, daily reality. For any organization still debating whether AI delivers value, its own senior workforce has already answered that question.”
Experts suggest that AI adoption is moving beyond IT and data jobs. People in marketing, finance, HR, and operations are increasingly leaning on AI tools.
AI helps professionals save time and focus more on strategic work. Companies, in general, are pushing employees to use AI to improve efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
Sharing his thoughts on the strategic shift, Aws Ismail, General Manager, Marc Ellis, said, “I would say the most important thing HR teams can do to better support employees in embracing the use of AI correctly and effectively is making them firstly understand that AI isn’t here to replace anyone; it’s here to enhance their productivity and allow them to get more done.”
Many employees say their tasks are now completed faster, the results are more accurate, and the overall output looks better. On top of that, AI tools are supporting teamwork as well, simplifying complex workflows and improving team coordination.
